Our PhD graduate, Dr. Suzan Ece Ada, received the BAP PhD Thesis Award.

Our doctoral graduate Suzan Ece Ada’s PhD dissertation titled “Robust and Adaptive Deep Reinforcement Learning” has been awarded the Doctoral Thesis Award by the Boğaziçi University Scientific Research Projects Commission due to its outstanding scientific quality. Dr. Ada, a former member of the CoLoRs Lab, conducted her thesis under the supervision of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Emre Uğur from our department and Prof. Erhan Öztop from Özyeğin University, and her impactful research has gained strong international recognition with high-profile publications in Robotics and Automation Letters and presentations at leading global venues such as NeurIPS, ICRA, and IROS. She is currently continuing her postdoctoral research at ETH Zurich.
